Role Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer & Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary marketing resource, collaborating directly with our credit union and bank clients to design and produce customized direct mailers and HTML email campaigns that align with their brand identities and resonate with their target audiences. Your expertise in Adobe InDesign and HTML/CSS will be crucial in delivering high-quality, compliant marketing materials that drive engagement and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Collaboration:

  
  

  • Work closely with clients to understand their branding guidelines and marketing objectives.

  • Develop tailored design solutions that meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.

    
    
  
  

• Design & Production:

  • Create visually compelling direct mail pieces using Adobe InDesign as well as our own proprietary software, ensuring consistency with client branding.

    
    

  • Design and code responsive HTML emails that are compatible across various email clients and devices.

  • Produce additional marketing collateral as needed, including product sheets, decks and other print and digital marketing materials

    
    
  
  

• Compliance & Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure all marketing materials adhere to FCRA and UDAAP regulations, incorporating required disclosures and disclaimers.

    
    

  • Conduct thorough reviews to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.

  
  

• Project Management:

  
  

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining open communication with clients and internal teams.

  • Maintain organized records of design assets and project documentation.

    
    
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.

  
  

• 3+ years of professional experience in graphic design and marketing, preferably within the financial services industry.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

  Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS for email design; experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailgun) is a plus.

• Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and typography.

  
  

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working directly with clients in a design or marketing capacity.

  
  

• Understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices.
