The focus is on identifying where merchants are, understanding their operational pain points, and then designing creative, testable ways to reach and convert them.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;ll operate at the intersection of product, data, and marketing with a high degree of autonomy. This role requires someone who takes initiative without waiting for direction and is comfortable owning outcomes end-to-end.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>You will report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing. This is a remote contract role. We are open to both full-time and part-time engagement, depending on fit. There\u2019s plenty of room to grow with us, including the opportunity to move into a permanent position.<\/p>\n<h3>What you\u2019ll do<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Own high-impact pilot growth projects to acquire, activate, and retain Shopify merchants.<\/li>\n<li>Translate product capabilities into clear value for both technical and non-technical Shopify merchants.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze data to identify what drives installs, activation, churn, and revenue, and prioritize accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the company\u2019s growth engine end-to-end across SEO, YouTube, Shopify App Store optimization, partnerships, lifecycle marketing, product marketing, paid acquisition, and strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Build lightweight scrappy systems to test ideas quickly, measure results, and iterate with speed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Who we\u2019re looking for:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>We care less about years of experience and more about evidence of ownership and impact. Strong candidates might come from roles where you\u2019ve been able to materially increase qualified installs and product adoption.<\/li>\n<li>High degree of independence and initiative. You proactively identify problems and act without needing constant direction.<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving ability and resourcefulness. You figure things out quickly with limited information.<\/li>\n<li>Comfort operating in ambiguity. You can define the problem before solving it.<\/li>\n<li>Product intuition. You understand how SaaS products create value and how users adopt them.<\/li>\n<li>Highly analytical with a structured approach to solving problems. You can design experiments, interpret results, and avoid false conclusions.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with marketing automation and analytics tools.<\/li>\n<li>Technical curiosity. You don\u2019t need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable understanding APIs, product workflows, and their capabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Creativity in distribution. You think beyond standard playbooks and introduce fresh ideas.<\/li>\n<li>A curious mind. You\u2019re always learning, always testing, always a few steps ahead.<\/li>\n<li>The ability to explain complex ideas in a simple way.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Bonus experience<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiarity with ecommerce, including Shopify or similar platforms, or B2B SaaS environments.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in analyzing datasets and working with data visualization tools such as Metabase.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Beyond expertise, success in this role means embodying these 3 core values:<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Resourcefulness: You are relentlessly resourceful, always finding a way to achieve the highest standards of quality. Since we work remotely and mostly async, clear communication helps us stay aligned.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Async by default<\/h3>\n<p>If you\u2019ve ever ended a day of back-to-back meetings wondering when you were supposed to get any actual work done, we get it. We\u2019ve been there. That\u2019s why we\u2019ve built a culture that protects time, encourages focus, and trusts you to do great work without constant check-ins.<\/p>\n<p>We meet once a week for 30 minutes on Mondays.
