We don&#8217;t care how many emails you sent, how many calls you made, or how disciplined your sequences look on a dashboard.\u00a0<br \/>We care about one thing: did a real, qualified buyer show up to a demo because of you,\u00a0and did they convert? Two BDRs can run the same number of touches and one creates 3x the pipeline. The difference\u00a0isn&#8217;t effort. It&#8217;s judgment. We want to hear &#8220;I\u00a0created $X in qualified pipeline, here&#8217;s how, and here&#8217;s what I&#8217;d do differently.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>You&#8217;re allergic to spray-and-pray. You&#8217;d rather send 5 sharp, researched emails than 50\u00a0templated ones, because you know which one produces more meetings.<\/li>\n<li>You&#8217;re curious about buyers. You actually want to understand why a Head of Compliance,\u00a0Head of Engineering, or CTO cares about Sprinto, what their week looks like, what they&#8217;re\u00a0under pressure to fix. That curiosity is what makes the difference between a generic\u00a0message and one that gets a reply.<\/li>\n<li>You want the AE seat, and you can tell us specifically why. Not &#8220;career growth.&#8221; The\u00a0actual reason. What about owning deals, running discovery, working with customers\u00a0excites you.<\/li>\n<li>You&#8217;re honest about what&#8217;s not working. If a campaign is dead, you say so. If your\u00a0numbers are off, you don&#8217;t hide. The fastest path to AE is being someone who diagnoses\u00a0honestly and adjusts fast.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><b>What Your Impact Will Look Like:<\/b><\/p>\n<div>Outcomes you&#8217;re on the hook for:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified pipeline from Intent accounts. Not demos booked, but demos done, with the right buyer, that progress past first call. Vanity demos that no-show or get disqualified don&#8217;t count.<\/li>\n<li>Intent-to-demo conversion rate. Of the high-intent accounts assigned to you, how many\u00a0do you actually convert into a real conversation? This is the number that separates a good\u00a0BDR from an average one.<\/li>\n<li>Inbound deals conversion into pipeline: demos done to SALs. Of the inbound demos\u00a0you run, how many convert into Sales Accepted Leads? A demo that the AE can&#8217;t\u00a0progress is a demo you shouldn&#8217;t have booked. Qualification quality, not quantity, is the\u00a0bar.<\/li>\n<li>Feedback into the system. You sit closest to the buyer. When an Intent segment isn&#8217;t\u00a0converting, you tell Marketing why. When inbound quality drops, you flag it. The campaign\u00a0gets smarter because of what you noticed.\n<p><strong>What This Looks Like in Practice- <\/strong>We don&#8217;t have a script for how to hit these outcomes. Different people get there differently. But\u00a0here&#8217;s the kind of judgment the role demands:<\/li>\n<li>Knowing when to skip an account. Not every Intent signal is a buyer. A pricing page visit\u00a0from a 5-person startup that needs SOC 2 in 6 months is a different play from a Director of\u00a0Security at a 500-person fintech. Treating them the same wastes your week.<\/li>\n<li>Knowing why someone dropped off, and being right. A half-filled demo form usually isn&#8217;t\u00a0&#8220;they got busy.&#8221; It&#8217;s usually &#8220;they weren&#8217;t sure we fit, or the timing&#8217;s wrong.&#8221; Your first\u00a0message has to address the real reason, not pitch.<\/li>\n<li>Knowing when an inbound lead is hotter than they look, or colder. The form-fill that says\u00a0&#8220;just exploring&#8221; sometimes has a SOC 2 audit in 4 weeks. The one that says &#8220;urgent&#8221;\u00a0sometimes has no budget. Reading this fast is the skill.<\/li>\n<li>Knowing when to stop. If three thoughtful touches haven&#8217;t moved an account, the fourth\u00a0probably won&#8217;t either. Move on.
