The Field Service Supervisor \u2013 California is responsible for leading and supporting a team of Verra direct Field Service Technicians and third-party service partners to maintain and service photo enforcement systems across the state of California. This role ensures high system uptime, compliance with service level agreements (SLAs), and strict adherence to California prevailing wage requirements.<\/p>\n

The Supervisor partners closely with the Senior Operations Manager, Field Services, internal and external construction partners, Project Management, and third-party vendors to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient field operations while driving continuous improvement in cost, quality, and performance.<\/p>\n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Supervise and support Field Service Technicians, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and performance standards.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Ensure compliance with California prevailing wage requirements, including proper labor classifications, accurate timekeeping, and complete documentation.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Plan and assign daily work to meet service level agreements (SLAs), system uptime targets, and customer requirements.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Monitor technician performance using established KPIs and provide coaching and corrective action as needed.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Serve as the primary escalation point for field service issues, including system outages, safety concerns, and customer inquiries.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Coordinate work with approved third-party vendors while ensuring compliance with contractual and labor requirements.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Review work orders and service documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Support labor planning, forecasting, and cost-control activities.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Participate in audits related to prevailing wage, safety, and service compliance.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, technician utilization, and service quality.<\/p>\n

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7 HIgh School Diplomat<\/p>\n

\u00b7 3+ years of experience in field services, operations, or technical support environments.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 1+ year of experience supervising field employees or contractors.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Working knowledge of California prevailing wage laws and compliance requirements.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Ability to analyze operational data and make informed decisions.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<\/p>\n

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00b7 BS\/BA degree<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Experience supporting government or public-sector contracts.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Experience with certified payroll or prevailing wage audits.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement training.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Experience suervising third-party service providers.<\/p>\n
