POSITION SUMMARY:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Payroll Coordinator will support all payroll functions.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Input and validate payroll on an accurate and timely basis, based on company policy and guidelines.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Maintains payroll information through systems; and collecting, calculating, and entering data.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Ensure systems are updated to reflect our current employee base, including wages, benefits, sick and vacation time.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Prepare and maintain relevant management reports, including weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (i.e. gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, NIB deductions, benefit deductions, etc.).<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Assist with preparation of payroll-related reports. Determines payroll liabilities by calculating NIB deductions, insurance deductions, submission of worker\u00e2\u0080\u0099s compensation payments, etc.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Timely and accurately follow Corporate-directed protocols for period\/year-end.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Maintains payroll guidelines by adhering to policies and procedures.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Complies with local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Assist in the administration of the Company\u00e2\u0080\u0099s Paid Time Off policies, including employee time off accruals.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Assist in the administration of the timekeeping program, including user maintenance, colleague enrollment, technical support, problem solving and manager support.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Administer payroll compensation or incentive programs as required.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Assist employees and managers with payroll-related questions.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Perform all other duties as assigned by management.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Associate\u00e2\u0080\u0099s Degree in Accounting or Finance<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Minimum of 2 years\u00e2\u0080\u0099 payroll experience<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Previous experience in ISL Payroll Software a plus<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Knowledge of local employment law a plus<\/p>\n

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Must display confidentiality in the execution of all duties and responsibilities.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Must demonstrate sound work ethics and responsible behavior.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Proficient at MS Office (especially Excel).<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Working experience of NIB contribution payments, a plus.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Process management, data entry management – and reporting.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Professional aptitude, presentation and demeanor.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Highly organized with an ability to maintain a high level of detail.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Results-oriented.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n

\u00e2\u0080\u00a2 Excellent team player.<\/p>\n
