This position provides comprehensive administrative and operational support while coordinating key human resources functions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment while maintaining discretion and professionalism.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>This is a part-time temporary position. The pay range for this role is between $40-$45hr and remote. Candidates must be able to commit to 3 days per week.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Administrative &amp; Operations Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Draft, review, and prepare professional written materials including emails, memoranda, reports, invoices, and internal documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate meetings by scheduling, preparing agendas, and capturing notes, action items, and follow-ups as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and organize internal records, shared drives, and document management systems to ensure accessibility and compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Manage incoming communications by triaging messages, routing inquiries, and summarizing key information for stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee vendor relationships and subscription services, including tracking renewals, managing contracts, and coordinating payments.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain organizational records, including financial and operational documentation, in collaboration with leadership and external vendors.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate travel arrangements and maintain accurate expense records when required.<\/li>\n<li>Support the execution of special projects and cross-functional operational initiatives as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Human Resources Coordination<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for employees and contractors, including coordinating logistics, preparing materials, and maintaining records.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and organize personnel files and HR documentation in compliance with organizational standards.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with administration of employee benefits and related processes.<\/li>\n<li>Draft and manage contractor and vendor agreements under the direction of leadership.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining internal policies, procedures, and documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Support coordination and administration of the annual performance review process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrated experience in administrative, operations, or project coordination roles.<\/li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar platforms).<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience working with nonprofit organizations, media organizations, or mission-driven teams.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with HR and payroll platforms such as Rippling (or similar systems).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and process orientation<\/li>\n<li>Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands<\/li>\n<li>Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking skills<\/li>\n<li>High level of integrity and confidentiality<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative and team-oriented mindset<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth, efficient day-to-day functioning of the organization.
