This team also manages technology operations in Latin America, Europe and Asia Pacific.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>The Live Orchestration Department at DE&amp;E Technology consists of agile and responsive teams of technicians that perform the daily processes and procedures required to run our live and on-demand streaming video products. The department\u00e2\u0080\u0099s responsibilities consist of round-the-clock support for these products, ensuring proper functionality across all platforms. Oversight includes both Linear and Event based content, hands-on operational and procedural support for our products, including system health monitoring and incident management, in addition to live and VOD streaming media orchestration using proprietary software.<\/p>\n<p>The Streaming Media Assistant is a key member of a daily operations team responsible for delivering high profile media products to market. Streaming Media Assistants routinely provide live, hands-on operational and procedural support for our partner products, including system health monitoring, routine issue mitigation, in addition to live and VOD streaming media orchestration using proprietary software.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities And Duties Of The Role<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for following operational procedures and raising awareness of issues in workflows when they arise<\/li>\n<li>Execute defined processes to validate the quality and availability of live content streams<\/li>\n<li>Executes system health monitoring and live and VOD streaming media orchestration using tools &amp; software<\/li>\n<li>Record steps to troubleshoot workflows when issues arise\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Education, Experience\/Skills\/Training<\/p>\n<p><\/strong>Basic Qualifications<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be available to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of computers and applications.<\/li>\n<li>Must have an exemplary attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Must possess strong communication skills, including written and verbal.<\/li>\n<li>Must possess solid organizational skills.<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.<\/li>\n<li>Must have a strong ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.<\/li>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A solid computer and technical background, with experience working in digital media and online organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with streaming and broadcast media, particularly HTTP Live Streaming (HLS)<\/li>\n<li>A team player who is enthusiastic with a strong work ethic.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to troubleshoot efficiently.<\/li>\n<li>1-2 years of relevant working experience.\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Required Education<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The hiring range for this remote position is $63,600 &#8211; $98,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate\u00e2\u0080\u0099s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
