{"id":324050,"date":"2026-06-05T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-04T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.remotetribe.life\/remotejobs\/job\/associate-general-manager-logistics-sarasota\/"},"modified":"2026-06-05T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2026-06-04T23:00:00","slug":"associate-general-manager-logistics-sarasota","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.remotetribe.life\/remotejobs\/job\/associate-general-manager-logistics-sarasota\/","title":{"rendered":"Associate General Manager, Logistics \u2013 Sarasota"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>COMPENSATION &amp; PERKS<\/strong><br \/>Full-Time Salary Position<br \/>100% Company paid medical for employee, plus family discounts<br \/>Paid Time Off (Including your birthday!)<br \/>401k with Company Match <br \/>Pet Benefits<br \/>Tuition Reimbursement after 6 month<\/p>\n<p>This position oversees multiple managers and their teams at the assigned Logistic Field Operations location\/s.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist General Manager to ensure day-to-day business operations run efficiently and effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Work with the General Manager and other Company leaders to develop site specific goals and objectives, and ensure alignment and effective execution within the site.<\/li>\n<li>Effectively execute new programs, initiatives, and strategies to optimize network operations through prioritization, work planning, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration.<\/li>\n<li>Gather pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information, and prepare periodic reports and presentations to business leaders.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor adherence to systems, policies, procedures, performance standards, and regulatory requirements, and take appropriate action to ensure compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with cross-functional teams for proper planning, scheduling and asset management.<\/li>\n<li>Provide mentoring and accountability to direct reports and succession planning through coaching, leadership development and training, and performance management.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the selection of highly qualified candidates, orientation, and training of employees<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate and identify key productivity indicators, trends and options, as well as implement process improvement initiatives and choose appropriate courses of action<\/li>\n<li>Ensure efficient and economical performance in accordance with strategic plans, goals, objectives, and operating budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively communicate information to direct reports, providing clear understanding of expectations, performance measures, and goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS<\/strong><br \/>Ability to work outdoors regularly for extended periods of time in all weather conditions.<br \/>Flexibility to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.<br \/>Ability to work in an office environment, with extensive use of computers, including the ability to sit for up to 4 or more hours.<br \/>Ability to safely perform physical requirements of the position, including: frequently move in and out of vehicles; frequently stand, bend, twist, stoop, and squat; regularly walk 75\u2019; regularly climb ladders and ramps of up to 10\u2019; regularly work up to 10\u2019 above ground; continually sit for 10 hours; regularly push, pull and lift 20 lbs., and periodically lift up to 60 lbs.<\/p>\n<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><br \/>2 years of actual people leadership experience\u00a0<em>and<\/em>\u00a04 years of logistics or supply chain experience\u00a0<em>OR<\/em>\u00a0Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in related fields.<br \/>Demonstrable experience leading or developing people (in either formal or informal roles), including managing CDL drivers.<br \/>Transportation experience, which may include driving a vehicle transporter or tractor trailer, or equivalent Military experience preferred.<\/p>\n<p><em>This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Carvana is an equal employment opportunity employer.
