Do you have what it takes?\u00a0<\/strong><strong><em>Travel Beyond Limits<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0<strong>and audition today!<\/strong><\/em> <\/p>\n<p><strong>Marine Travel Consultant (Remote\/Hybrid)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Full time, Costa Rica<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Travel Consultant, ERM is responsible for accurately and efficiently handling incoming contacts requests via multiple channels (i.e. phone, email, etc.) and handling additional duties as assigned within a global, mutli- regional setup. You will be the primary point of contact for the customer and provide active travel consultation towards the business customers, including providing travel details and up-selling of related products. You will provide exceptional service which exceeds client expectations and effectively manage and control all facets of travel arrangements, as requested by our clients.<\/p>\n<p><strong>As a Travel Consultant, ERM, you will<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Search and confirm travel reservations for the customer<\/li>\n<li>Have hands on involvement in crew movements, rotation, and disruption handling<\/li>\n<li>Provide the customer with the required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs, penalties, and visa information\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Respond to the customer promptly and provide the customer with your undivided attention<\/li>\n<li>Willingly offer assistance to team members within and across teams<\/li>\n<li>Meet\u00a0individual and team goals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About you<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven experience in ERM, marine, offshore, or crew travel environments<\/li>\n<li>Hands\u2011on expertise managing crew movements, rotations, and disruption handling<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform accurately under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working in a fast\u2011paced, 24\/7 service environment<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a global, multi\u2011regional operations setup<\/li>\n<li>Relevant skills in GDS Amadeus<\/li>\n<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills in English<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated understanding of customer servicing excellence<\/li>\n<li>Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About BCD Media &amp; Entertainment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are the Media &amp; Entertainment division of BCD Travel, one of the world\u2019s largest and most admired travel management companies.
