Your work will shape how millions of new users move from sign-up to setup, from setup to sharing, and from sharing to seeing real audience engagement, growth, and monetization value.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>This is a senior, high-impact product leadership role for someone who thinks in funnels, learns through experimentation, and can turn complex behavioral data into simple, high-converting product experiences. You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Data, Lifecycle, Marketing, Revenue, and executive leadership to define what activation means at Linktree and build the systems that make it happen at scale.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<h2><strong>What You Will Own<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Own Linktree&#8217;s activation strategy across the early customer journey, from sign-up and account creation through setup, first publish, first share, first audience engagement, and repeat usage.<\/li>\n<li>Define the activation model for Linktree, including the key milestones, aha moments, leading indicators, and segment-specific paths that predict long-term retention and monetization.<\/li>\n<li>Build and continuously improve onboarding, setup, templates, recommendations, empty states, nudges, lifecycle touchpoints, and in-product guidance that help users reach value faster.<\/li>\n<li>Develop a high-velocity experimentation roadmap focused on improving setup completion, time to value, early engagement, D7\/D30 retention, and downstream conversion.<\/li>\n<li>Lead deep funnel analysis to identify where users drop off, why they get stuck, and which interventions will create the highest impact.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with Data to ensure the activation funnel is well-instrumented, measurable, and understood across the company.<\/li>\n<li>Translate qualitative insight and behavioral data into sharp product hypotheses, clear priorities, and testable product bets.<\/li>\n<li>Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Lifecycle, Revenue, and Brand to ensure the journey from acquisition message to in-product experience feels cohesive and intentional.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate strategy, tradeoffs, experiment results, and business impact clearly to senior leadership and executive audiences.<\/li>\n<li>Raise the bar for growth product craft at Linktree by bringing strong experimentation discipline, funnel thinking, and customer empathy into the product organization.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2><strong>What We Are Looking For<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>8+ years of product management experience, with significant experience in growth, activation, onboarding, product-led growth, lifecycle, or funnel optimization.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience owning a large-scale consumer, prosumer, marketplace, creator, SaaS, or self-serve product funnel with meaningful user volume.<\/li>\n<li>A track record of improving activation, onboarding completion, retention, conversion, or time to value through product-led experimentation.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical depth: you are fluent in funnel analysis, cohort analysis, segmentation, experimentation design, and metric definition.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with product analytics and experimentation tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker, Mode, Optimizely, Statsig, or similar.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent executive communication skills, including the ability to present complex data, crisp narratives, and strategic recommendations to senior leaders.<\/li>\n<li>Strong product judgment: you know when to optimize, when to rethink the journey, and when a small product change can unlock a much larger behavior shift.<\/li>\n<li>Experience partnering deeply with Design and Engineering to ship polished, scalable, user-centered product experiences.<\/li>\n<li>Comfort operating in ambiguity, creating clarity across teams, and influencing without direct authority.<\/li>\n<li>A strong customer instinct and curiosity about how creators, businesses, and brands use digital tools to grow their presence, audience, and income.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2><strong>How You Work<\/strong><\/h2>\n<div><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>You are deeply data-driven, but not data-blind. You use numbers to find the problem, user research to understand it, and experimentation to learn what works.<\/li>\n<li>You love funnels. You naturally break journeys into stages, identify the conversion points that matter, and build a clear point of view on which moments deserve the team&#8217;s attention.<\/li>\n<li>You are a strategic communicator. You can zoom into experiment design with a data scientist, unblock scope with engineers, sharpen a flow with design, and then walk an executive team through the business case with confidence.<\/li>\n<li>You move quickly, but with discipline. You know how to balance speed, craft, and signal quality so the team is not just shipping more experiments, but learning faster and making better decisions.<\/li>\n<li>You care about helping users succeed. The base salary offered for this role is targeted at $215,000-$230,000 for roles based in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
