This position is responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of both the fabrication facility and the adjacent office spaces. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in ensuring that our facility maintains high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul> <\/p>\n<li>Perform daily cleaning duties to ensure that the facility is clean and presentable, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.<\/li>\n<p> <\/p>\n<li>Regularly clean and sanitize restrooms,replenishingsupplies as needed, andensuringthey meet hygiene standards.<\/li>\n<p> <\/p>\n<li>Clean andmaintainthe officespaces, including desks, windows, andcommon areas, to create a professional and welcoming atmosphere.<\/li>\n<p> <\/p>\n<li>Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables from all areas of the facility, including manufacturing areas, break rooms, and offices.<\/li>\n<p> <\/p>\n<li>Responsible for routine floor care, including waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning, as needed.<\/li>\n<p> <\/p>\n<li>Keep windows clean and streak-free to ensure clear visibility.<\/li>\n<p> <\/p>\n<li>Monitor andreportthe inventory of cleaning supplies and request replacements as needed.<\/li>\n<p> <\/p>\n<li>Be mindful of safety protocols and report any potential safety hazards or incidents to the Facility Manager.<\/li>\n<p> <\/p>\n<li>Minor maintenance and repair tasks as necessary, such as changing light bulbs and fixing minor plumbing issues.<\/li>\n<p> <\/p>\n<li>Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smoothly running facility andparticipatein periodic safety training and meetings.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Education and Experience:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul> <\/p>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent.<\/li>\n<p> <\/p>\n<li>Previousjanitorial experiencepreferred, butnotrequired.<\/li>\n<p> <\/p>\n<li>Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and cleaning products.<\/li>\n<p> <\/p>\n<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<\/li>\n<p> <\/p>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and commitment tomaintaininga high standard of cleanliness.<\/li>\n<p> <\/p>\n<li>Good communicationskills.<\/li>\n<p> <\/p>\n<li>Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Physical Requirements:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul> <\/p>\n<li>Ability to stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel,crouchor crawl and talk and hear.<\/li>\n<p> <\/p>\n<li>Ability to see with visual acuity and distinguish between colors.<\/li>\n<p> <\/p>\n<li>Ability to lift and carry 15 lbs. on a regular basis is required and at timeslifting upto 25 lbs. may be required.<\/li>\n<p><\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Summary: The Janitor at our Pipe Fabrication Facility plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe working environment for our employees.
