{"id":325916,"date":"2026-06-25T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-24T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.remotetribe.life\/remotejobs\/job\/it-consultant\/"},"modified":"2026-06-25T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2026-06-24T23:00:00","slug":"it-consultant","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.remotetribe.life\/remotejobs\/job\/it-consultant\/","title":{"rendered":"IT Consultant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!<\/b><\/p>\n<h2>Responsibilities:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><b>Analyze requirements and design target finance processes<\/b> in collaboration with global Process Owners, Finance Shared Services, and local Finance teams, defining the SAP FI\/CO solution and automation roadmap.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><b>Lead Fit\u2011to\u2011Standard \/ Fit\u2011Gap workshops<\/b>, identifying automation opportunities across core end\u2011to\u2011end finance and controlling processes (Record\u2011to\u2011Report, Order\u2011to\u2011Cash, Purchase\u2011to\u2011Pay, Controlling).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><b>Own SAP Finance (FI) &amp; Controlling (CO) solution design and configuration<\/b>, ensuring effective integration with adjacent SAP modules and external platforms.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><b>Drive automation and digital finance initiatives<\/b>, leveraging workflow tools, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), OCR\/e\u2011invoicing, reconciliation automation, and AI\/ML\u2011based use cases.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><b>Manage projects and workstreams end\u2011to\u2011end<\/b>, coordinating IT teams, external partners, and system integrators.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><b>Ensure testing excellence and deployment readiness<\/b>, leading SIT\/UAT, cutover, go\u2011live, and hypercare with a strong focus on stability, controls, and audit compliance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><b>Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement<\/b>, while mentoring team members and contributing to global templates, standards, and innovation topics.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Qualifications:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><b>Education:<\/b> Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field. SAP certifications and project management credentials are advantageous.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><b>Experience:<\/b> 10\u201315 years of professional experience in SAP Finance &amp; Controlling with multiple end\u2011to\u2011end project lifecycles, ideally including S\/4HANA transformations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><b>Automation &amp; Innovation Expertise:<\/b> Demonstrated experience in leading finance automation and digitalization initiatives, with hands\u2011on exposure to workflow orchestration, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), e\u2011invoicing, reconciliation automation, closing acceleration, and touchless processing.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><b>Artificial Intelligence \/ Machine Learning Expertise:<\/b> Familiarity with AI\u2011 and ML\u2011driven finance use cases such as predictive accounting, anomaly detection, intelligent matching, forecasting, and exception handling.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><b>Process &amp; Controls Knowledge:<\/b> Deep understanding of finance and controlling processes, supported by a strong internal controls and compliance mindset.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><b>Communication &amp; Stakeholder Management:<\/b> Excellent stakeholder management and consulting\u2011grade communication skills, with confident interaction at senior business and IT levels.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p><b>Language Skills:<\/b> Fluent in English; Italian highly desirable.
