They will support preflight, imposition, color management, and will work closely with our creative team on various projects. They will provide precise file output of artwork for subsequent processing in a manner that meets or exceeds customer specifications. Candidates will have a background in design\/print production and an understanding of print production workflows.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Preflight and prepare files for digital output.<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Produce accurate proofs and develop imposition layouts to meet printing specifications.<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Coordinate color management of files with digital output devices.<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Preflight, layout, and prepare content for customer Web-to-Print catalogs.<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Provide strong customer service to internal and client stakeholders<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Stay knowledgeable of industry trends, new ideas, and technologies<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Adheres to legal requirements relating to duplication, printing, software, and fonts.<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Adheres to production schedules and deadlines.<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Reviews proofs and works with operators on the production of printed material.<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Work with VDP (Variable Data Printing) tools and techniques.<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 aAsset management and manage document libraries<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Performs other tasks as assigned.<\/p>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Typically Required:<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 4-year college degree (Design) preferred or other related coursework\/certificates or equivalent years of related work experience<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Expertise with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft products in Mac and PC platforms<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Proven preflight, design and layout abilities<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Requires a minimum of three years of related job experience<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Print production experience preferred<\/p>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Preflight, design, and imposition skills<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Ability to use desktop publishing tools, specifically Adobe Creative Suite &amp; Microsoft Suite<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Must be able to work in a team environment by maintaining positive, productive relationships with co-workers, management, sales, and production departments.<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Must be able to adapt to changing situations and be flexible.<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Must be able to perform repetitive work by continuously executing different tasks according to set procedures, sequence, or pace while maintaining quality and output standards.<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Attention to detail<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Creativity and flexibility<\/p>\n<p><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise level<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Requires internal contact within the department and with other corporate personnel, and external contact with customers, agencies, vendors, etc. and General Public<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Work assignments are diversified Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems New alternatives may be developed to resolve the problem<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Physical effort is required, such as walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects could weigh up to 50 lbs (e.g., papers, books, files, and small parts, etc.)<\/p>\n<p>\ufffd\u00b7 Requires moderate dexterity \ufffd\u00b7 regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, and eye\/hand coordination<\/p>\n<p>The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
