Hourly rate $19.00\/hour.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>About the Role:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a core member of our Customer Service<em>\u00a0<\/em>team, you will be expected to: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Handle incoming calls from customers to take product orders<\/li>\n<li>Respond to incoming calls and emails from customers and Sales Representatives<\/li>\n<li>Enter and adjust orders in our computer system<\/li>\n<li>Identify opportunities to up-sell products and services, and explain new offerings<\/li>\n<li>Respond to requests for promotional materials<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate customer account information<\/li>\n<li>Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the complaint; determining the cause, and explaining the best resolution<\/li>\n<li>Follow up to ensure satisfaction and resolution<\/li>\n<li>Enhance the organization\u2019s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments<\/li>\n<li>Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to the above responsibilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As your employer, Perry\u2019s will help you to achieve all of the above goals through feedback, education, and continuous professional development.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HS diploma or GED\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Prior work experience in a customer service position is preferred <\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of MS Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong customer service skills; with a focus on providing world-class service to both internal and external customers<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written communications skills, with the ability to compose professional emails and letters using proper grammar, punctuation, spelling and syntax<\/li>\n<li>Effective verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Able to make and receive phone calls<\/li>\n<li>Can establish and maintain effective working relationships with leaders, team members, and outside contacts<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a positive attitude and treat others with respect<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates sound independent judgment and ability to solve issues of moderate complexity<\/li>\n<li>Excellent computer\/typing skills and accurate data entry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Capable of learning established procedures and product specifications <\/li>\n<li>Effective in managing multiple tasks with limited direct supervision<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Office environment during initial training period<\/li>\n<li>Employer is open to a hybrid to fully remote role after successful completion of training period and demonstration of job proficiency<\/li>\n<li>Department office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. While part-time schedules may vary, all work hours are performed within this window, allowing employees to maintain evenings and weekends for personal and family commitments.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Pay<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Base Pay Rate: <\/strong>$19.00 \/ hour\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>Perry&#8217;s Ice Cream is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug free facility.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Overview This is a part-time, Monday- Friday, hourly position (approximately 24-32 hours a week).
