The successful candidate will be part of the Global HR Operations team, covering the full suite of HR operational activities and managing various processes relating to the full employee lifecycle. The role will involve supporting HR Operations for our US region. The candidate will assist the Operations team with some, or all, of the following responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creating, updating and maintaining employee records within the HR system.<\/li>\n<li>Managing payroll submissions for joiners and leavers.<\/li>\n<li>Managing background checks for joiners and rescreens.<\/li>\n<li>Providing immigration support to new joiners and extensions.<\/li>\n<li>Managing offboarding related processes.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring a central HR mailbox and redistributing or actioning emails as required.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing employee letters and documents from templates for the HR team.<\/li>\n<li>Coordination of HR invoice processing with the Finance team.<\/li>\n<li>Coordination with the HR Tech team for any system issues, mass uploads or automation requests.<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with the HR team and serving as point of contact for troubleshooting employee data impacting the firmwide directory and other communication channels.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining integrity of data by conducting system reviews to ensure consistency of information.<\/li>\n<li>Stakeholder Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Skills and Experience:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 &#8211; 2 years\u00e2\u0080\u0099 experience managing HR support activities.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and spoken English.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent excel skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently with a high-level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable following instructions in how to complete tasks, maintain follow-ups to activities, and writing down instructions or creating SOP\u00e2\u0080\u0099s when needed.<\/li>\n<li>Proactive, problem-solver as well as taking ownership of initiatives and driving them forward.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable juggling competing priorities and managing stakeholder expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrate initiative and proactively contribute ideas, views and recommendations.<\/li>\n<li>A professional and adaptable approach and the ability to work with confidential and sensitive information using discretion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Jefferies is an equal employment opportunity employer, and takes affirmative action to ensure that all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, gender, pregnancy, age, physical or mental disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran or military status, genetic information, reproductive health decisions, or any other factor protected by applicable law.
