Through this multidisciplinary model, we&#8217;re redefining what accessible, comprehensive mental health care looks like.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0At Clarity Clinic, we are seeking a <b><strong>Customer Service Representative<\/strong><\/b> to work in our Billing and Reimbursement department.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><b><strong>Location: Remote (<\/strong><\/b><i><b><strong>Note: Candidates must be based in the state of Illinois<\/strong><\/b><\/i><b><strong>) <\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><b><strong>In this role, you will:\u00a0<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure that patients are treated with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism<\/li>\n<li>Maintain incoming patient calls and responding to voicemails promptly, courteously, and professionally while de-escalating situations involving dissatisfied customers by offering assistance and support<\/li>\n<li>Assists billing staff with basic office duties (i.e., pulling notes, EOBs, payment receipts etc..) as needed<\/li>\n<li>Manage the\u00a0patient billing emails and portal messages with prompt resolution in a courteous and professional manner <\/li>\n<li>Support as Liaison between billing and operations, offering support as it relates to billing and patient balance inquiries<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for Self-Pay AR and management of accounts with credit cards on file<\/li>\n<li>Collects patient payments and assists in posting payments as it relates to our collection processes<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for reviewing, identifying, and sending qualified accounts to collections<\/li>\n<li>Identify patient and insurance credits\/refunds<\/li>\n<li>Create and manage patient payment plans<\/li>\n<li>Manage and run weekly statement files<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for return mail<\/li>\n<li>Handle\u00a0mailing secondary claims to insurance companies, attaching copies of primary EOB<\/li>\n<li>Handle\u00a0mailing collection letters to both insurance and patient as instructed by collection staff<\/li>\n<li>Work various tasks assigned as needed<\/li>\n<li>Maintain\u00a0the strictest confidentiality according to the guidelines of company policies<\/li>\n<li>Stay\u00a0abreast of and comply\u00a0with all state and federal laws including HIPAA, ADA, OSHA, and FLSA<\/li>\n<li>Attend\u00a0meetings as required<\/li>\n<li>Participate\u00a0in development and training activities as required by management<\/li>\n<li>Adapt to change in positive and professional manner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><strong>Minimum Requirements:\u00a0<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BS\/BA\u00a0degree preferred or two years\u00a0of medical billing and customer service experience is preferred<\/li>\n<li>Heavy focus on high volume phone calls and emails<\/li>\n<li>Bilingual is a plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>We celebrate diversity when it comes to all backgrounds and identities, and we encourage applications from minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, candidates of all ages, and nontraditional backgrounds.
