That craft is the heart of this role.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re a small, fully remote team that&#8217;s been publishing for years and isn&#8217;t going anywhere.<\/p>\n<p>Same timezone as Singapore.<\/p>\n<h4>The role<\/h4>\n<p>You&#8217;ll own each article&#8217;s journey from approved lead all the way to a published article that people actually read.<\/p>\n<p>The core skill isn&#8217;t proofreading; it&#8217;s packaging: taking a subject that looks dry on paper (a patent filing, a wear-test study, an industry pricing change) and finding the story angle that makes people click, without stretching the truth.<\/p>\n<p>Around that craft sits a pipeline you&#8217;ll run day to day, working directly under our Editor-in-Chief: assign topics to writers, edit drafts to publish-ready, brief our thumbnail designer, publish on WordPress, and distribute on Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>When the Editor-in-Chief is away, the pipeline runs on your watch.<\/p>\n<h4>What you&#8217;ll do<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Own the angle<\/strong>. Leads arrive with a proposed angle; it&#8217;s your call to run it, sharpen it, or replace it before the writer starts<\/li>\n<li><strong>Edit drafts to make them publish-ready<\/strong>: structure, flow, accuracy, and voice<\/li>\n<li><strong>Train on our headline craft<\/strong>. Final titles are currently written by the Editor-in-Chief; you&#8217;ll study what makes them perform, draft titles for every article, and earn ownership of the final call. We have a playbook. You bring the taste.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fact-check rigorously<\/strong>, including catching wrong or suspicious product specs<\/li>\n<li><strong>Coordinate with our thumbnail designer<\/strong> to create a scroll-stopping thumbnail for every article<\/li>\n<li><strong>Distribute articles on our Facebook page<\/strong>, re-push strong performers, and learn from what clicks<\/li>\n<li><strong>Learn topic selection<\/strong> from the Editor-in-Chief over time<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>What success looks like<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Month 1:<\/strong> you do first-pass edits plus angle and title reps on every article; the Editor-in-Chief reviews everything<\/li>\n<li><strong>By ~2 months:<\/strong> you own our full weekly pipeline (~8-10 articles\/week), with the Editor-in-Chief sampling for quality<\/li>\n<li><strong>Always:<\/strong> the articles you package get read. A flawlessly edited article that nobody clicks is a miss here. We measure performance, not just output.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This is a role with a real ramp and real ownership at the end of it, not a proofreading gig.<\/p>\n<h4>You&#8217;re a fit if you have<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>A knack for making true things irresistible: you can look at a boring-but-solid subject and see the angle and headline that earn the click (the application asks you to prove this on the spot)<\/li>\n<li>Proven editing experience: in your application you&#8217;ll share work you edited, not wrote<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written English and sharp judgment about facts and claims<\/li>\n<li>Working familiarity with WordPress, Facebook pages, and basic analytics (the tools are trainable; the taste isn&#8217;t)<\/li>\n<li>A smart approach to AI editing tools: you use them, and you know where not to trust them<\/li>\n<li>Interest in headphones\/audio (a plus, not required)<\/li>\n<li>Availability for full-time work as a remote contractor with Singapore-timezone overlap<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Pay and process<\/h4>\n<p><strong>$1,000\u20131,400\/month USD base<\/strong>, depending on experience. On top of that, there is a monthly performance bonus: once the articles you run cross our traffic thresholds, you earn a revenue share paid per thousand pageviews, in rising tiers.<\/p>\n<p>Your packaging skill directly raises your own pay, and in strong traffic months the bonus adds meaningfully to the base.
