We are looking for a talented, tech-savvy\u00a0Rive<\/strong> Motion Designer<\/strong>\u00a0to help us level up the visual experience for a major entertainment company. The core of our pipeline for this project is Rive<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Project Details<\/strong><\/p>\n

Starts as a\u00a0freelance contract<\/strong>\u00a0for the initial milestone. Successful completion opens the door to a permanent,\u00a0full-time position<\/strong>\u00a0within our core team.<\/p>\n

\n

Hard Skills & Technical Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

Expertise in Rive<\/p>\n

3+ years<\/strong>\u00a0of experience with Rive<\/strong>, with confident use of the Design, Animate, and Data Binding \/ View Models workflows. Ability to build complex, reusable, and adaptive components, and to configure advanced State Machines with multiple layers, inputs, and triggers. Understanding of Rive ViewModel schemas (Number \/ String \/ Boolean \/ Enum), Property Groups, and converters. Ability to design and implement a clear \u201cdata \u2192 animation\u201d pipeline. Willingness to write scripts (Luau \/ Lua\u2011style syntax) for custom logic.<\/p>\n

Core Animation Fundamentals<\/p>\n

Skill in balancing rich effects against hardware constraints without breaking the juicy feel of the animations. Strong sense of timing, spacing, weight, anticipation, and squash\u2011and\u2011stretch.<\/p>\n

Handoff & Dev Collaboration<\/p>\n

You understand how Rive assets run in real runtimes and can clearly document what engineers need – ViewModel schemas, State Machine inputs, and expected data ranges. You\u2019re comfortable reviewing integration with developers and adjusting animations or data contracts so the final experience matches the design and stays maintainable.<\/p>\n
