The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, procurement, operations, and project teams to develop commercially viable bids while ensuring compliance with technical, quality, safety, and client requirements.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Review and analyze tender documents, technical specifications, and engineering drawings.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct quantity take-offs for piping, structural, mechanical, and civil scopes.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in site visits, pre-bid meetings, and client clarification sessions.<\/li>\n<li>Obtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.<\/li>\n<li>Support project scheduling, resource planning, and execution strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to bid reviews, risk assessments, and proposal development.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain estimating databases, historical cost records, and benchmarking tools.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil\/Structural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 10 years of experience in estimating for EPC projects, industrial construction, oil &amp; gas, or plant maintenance environments.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with shutdowns\/turnarounds (TAR), fabrication, installation, maintenance, or brownfield projects.<\/li>\n<li>Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&amp;IDs, and technical documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of industry codes and standards such as ASME, API, and ANSI.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and estimating software\/tools.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with MS Project and\/or Primavera is preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Key Skills<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cost estimation and commercial analysis<\/li>\n<li>Proposal and bid preparation<\/li>\n<li>Project planning and coordination<\/li>\n<li>Stakeholder management<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Airswift is currently seeking an experienced Estimator to support a leading company in the industrial construction and oil &amp; gas sector.
