We need someone who can stay close to what is changing in the AI tooling landscape, understand what matters for our business, and help turn that understanding into practical operational improvements.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A big part of this role is making sure AI tooling is configured properly, used effectively, and\u00a0operating\u00a0reliably. You will work with teams who use AI tools day to day, understand where tooling is creating friction,\u00a0identify\u00a0what needs to change, and follow through on the detailed operational work that makes systems dependable.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This is a high-ownership role for someone who wants real responsibility for how AI tooling\u00a0operates\u00a0inside a fast-moving SaaS business. You will bring structure to messy tooling environments, improve visibility, support better standards, and help keep Storyteller in control of fast-changing AI platforms rather than reacting too late.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This is not a passive maintenance role. It is for someone who likes improving systems, raising standards, and making AI tooling genuinely work better.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>About Storyteller\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Storyteller is a SaaS platform used by globally recognised brands across sport, media, entertainment, and beyond.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Our platform helps companies create and deliver engaging story-style content experiences across their digital products. The AI Operations function exists to make sure our AI tooling is reliable, well-configured, secure, useful, and continuously improving. This role is central to that work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You Will Do\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take operational ownership of the configuration, reliability, and standards of Storyteller\u2019s AI tools and AI platforms.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Support the AI Operations team\u2019s response when AI tools, platforms, models, or underlying capabilities change.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Set,\u00a0maintain, and improve operational standards for how AI tooling is configured, accessed, used, and\u00a0monitored.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Improve visibility around AI tool configuration, platform usage, access administration, permissions, dependencies, and operational performance.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Identify\u00a0weak, unstable, or high-friction areas in our AI tooling setup and help develop practical solutions that are durable and scalable.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Work with internal teams to understand where AI tooling is helping, where it is creating friction, and what needs to improve.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Give leadership clearer visibility on where the AI tooling stack is performing well, where it is fragile, and what platform or workflow changes are needed next.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Help ensure Storyteller\u2019s AI tooling\u00a0remains\u00a0useful, controlled, reliable, and aligned with how the business\u00a0actually works.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What We Are Looking For\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrable experience managing or improving technical platforms, ideally including AI tools, automation platforms, LLM-based tools, or AI-enabled workflows.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>High agency and strong ownership of operational outcomes.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical judgment, especially around AI tools, platform configuration, workflows, permissions, integrations, APIs, and dependencies.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Comfort making decisions in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>The ability to prioritise trade-offs across a technical tooling stack and act decisively.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>A track record\u00a0of driving operational improvements through to completion, not just\u00a0identifying\u00a0or proposing them.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Clear, direct communication and the confidence to uphold standards.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Genuine interest in AI tools and a strong instinct for how quickly the AI tooling environment is changing.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Good judgment about when to act independently, when to ask for input, and how to translate between user needs and platform realities.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Energy, discipline, and follow-through to\u00a0operate\u00a0at pace without letting\u00a0important details\u00a0drift.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What Success Looks Like\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You do not wait for problems to be assigned to you.
