This role supports territory throughout Western North Carolina and requires the employee to be based in North Carolina. <\/b><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

As a key member of the local management team, assist in the achievement of the budget through sales to new clients, increasing sales to existing clients. Responsible for developing the annual Sales Plan and building a sustainable sales pipeline for the pharmacy. Evaluate potential profitability of any new business prior to proposal. Responsible for building a positive working relationship with all clients by resolving issues\/problems, advising clients on regulatory issues, and training client staff as needed. Responsible for supervision and development of Account Management team to provide superior service to both internal and external customer groups.<\/p>\n

Essential job functions (include the following):<\/b>
\u2022 Develop and execute annual sales plan as outlined the business plan
\u2022 Nurture and develop existing relationships and new business as the preferred provider of pharmacy services to nursing home communities assisted living facilities and other long-term care facilities.
\u2022 Ensure maximum customer adoption rates in all facilities serviced.
\u2022 Market local business as a preferred provider to facility residents and families at monthly family nights
\u2022 Ensure sales agreements with new and existing clients meet profitability targets for the business unit
\u2022 Maintain client contracts and relationships through \u201cexpert\u201d advisor status, problem-solving
\u2022 Act as liaison with operations to maintain high service level to the client, following all service-related issues through to resolution
\u2022 Provide consulting services to client facilities to assist in compliance
\u2022 Provide in-service training to client staff and pharmacy staff as needed
\u2022 Actively participate in local association meetings related to assisted living\/long-term care facilities
\u2022 Design collateral for targeting client group
\u2022 Membership and participation visibility with national level industry associations
\u2022 Managing contracts and ensuring that pharmacy solutions are effectively positioned to result in increased revenue.
\u2022 Ensure active participation on the pharmacy QA committee responsible for collecting and reposting customer feedback from customer visits.
\u2022 Act as \/ delegate e-MAR interface support and liaison between customer and pharmacy to maintain high level of service to the client, providing feedback to the pharmacy team and ensure that service-related issues are followed through to resolution.
\u2022 Provide pharmacy updates and newsworthy stories that align with company values and Goals<\/p>\n

\u2022 May supervise Account Managers, including oversight of scheduling, training and performance management to include annual reviews.
\u2022 Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed<\/p>\n

Education and\/or Certifications:<\/b>
\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree preferred
\u2022 Valid driver\u2019s license and clean driving record<\/p>\n

Skills and Qualifications:<\/b>
\u2022 3+ years\u2019 new sales or account management experience in Long Term Care (LTC), Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, or Geriatric Facility, Pharmaceutical\/Pharmacy preferred but not required
\u2022 Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred\/required
\u2022 Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
\u2022 Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
\u2022 Great attention to detail and accuracy
\u2022 Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
\u2022 Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate<\/p>\n

Work Environment:<\/b>
\u2022 We require a current valid driver’s license with up to 75%-80% travel.
\u2022 May be required to work occasional evenings, weekends and could include overnight\u202f<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
