B2Bs are also responsible to ramp and onboard net new won accounts to further expanding our customer base. It is a high velocity sales position that leverages a prioritized call list to drive prospect engagement remotely by phone, video, face to face, and utilizing digital tools.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Work Location: <\/strong>This is a remote position with a regional focus. This position supports customers in <i>San Francisco, CA<\/i>. While the role primarily supports working from home, the individual performing this role would live within or adjacent to this region.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll be doing:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exhibit effective appointment setting skills and set the required number of appointments each week with the correct decision makers.<\/li>\n<li>Effective Selling Skills<\/li>\n<li>Utilizing professional selling skills<\/li>\n<li>Discover prospects incremental and programmatic needs<\/li>\n<li>Effectively communicates Staples value propositions, capabilities, products and assortments including all categories<\/li>\n<li>Capable of overcoming objections and closing the sale.<\/li>\n<li>Utilize prescribed selling tools to prioritize activities and drive efficiency, as well as to document customer engagement and information (ex: Priority List, Tenfold, SFDC).<\/li>\n<li>Internal Partnerships: Effectively work with customer support\/set up teams and category specialists to progress deals forward to closed won<\/li>\n<li>Implements and ramps wins driving compliance to new account\/program<\/li>\n<li>Expertise of prospect industry buying process\u2019 and ability to support product selection and standardization<\/li>\n<li>Create sticky accounts which will continue to purchase from Staples<\/li>\n<li>Integrates feedback from prospects into their sales approach<\/li>\n<li>New customer assortment and pricing<\/li>\n<li>Internal Teaming: Individual will need to communicate and work closely with Category Specialists, and Support teams<\/li>\n<li>Customer Communications: Individual is responsible to communicate with prospects daily in person and face to face in a professional manner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What you bring to the table:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong drive and a desire to win<\/li>\n<li>Strong aversion to complacency<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to view rejection as a learning opportunity and double down on next best actions<\/li>\n<li>Experience and proven track record of business development<\/li>\n<li>Strong ability to develop and deliver presentations virtually and in person<\/li>\n<li>Consultative selling, solutions selling, insight selling, negotiation and advanced client management skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with product category sales team members<\/li>\n<li>Strong business, financial, operations and technology acumen<\/li>\n<li>Ability to analyze business and industry trends to create tailored solutions for prospects based upon Staples value proposition<\/li>\n<li>Ability to function independently with minimal daily supervision<\/li>\n<li>Ability and motivation to find, develop, and close sales<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated work ethic, self-disciplined<\/li>\n<li>Ability to succeed in a competitive selling or goal-oriented environment<\/li>\n<li>Ability to be coached and to incorporate feedback<\/li>\n<li>Professional appearance and demeanor<\/li>\n<li>Strong organization and time management skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s needed- Basic Qualifications:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1-3 years of successful sales experience or success as a Staples B2B Sales Associate<\/li>\n<li>3+ years experience in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s needed- Preferred Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s Degree<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM)<\/li>\n<li>Industry knowledge, a plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We Offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inclusive culture with associate-led Business Resource Groups<\/li>\n<li>Flexible PTO (22 days) and Holiday Schedule\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Online and Retail Discounts, Company Match 401(k), Physical and Mental Health Wellness programs, and more!\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>The salary range represents the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting.
