{"id":355920,"date":"2026-08-09T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-08-08T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.remotetribe.life\/remotejobs\/job\/architectural-sales-representative\/"},"modified":"2026-08-09T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2026-08-08T23:00:00","slug":"architectural-sales-representative","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.remotetribe.life\/remotejobs\/job\/architectural-sales-representative\/","title":{"rendered":"Architectural Sales Representative"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Position Overview<\/h2>\n<p>dormakaba is seeking an Architectural Sales Representative to work remotely from one of the following Virgina areas: <strong>Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Newport News, Suffolk, or Norfolk.\u00a0<\/strong> The Architectural Sales Representative is responsible for effectively promoting dormakaba\u2019s entire North American portfolio of products, solutions, and services to architectural firms, design build firms, and government architects.\u202fThis is a sales position.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>HIRING SALARY RANGE:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Base Salary $85,000 \u2013 $100,000<\/strong>\/(determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)<\/li>\n<li>Performance-Based Compensation:\u00a0<strong>Bonus structure with target earnings of 50% of base salary<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Total Compensation Range:\u00a0<strong>$127,500\u2013$150,000+ annually<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This position includes a competitive benefits package. Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.<\/p>\n<h2>What you will do<\/h2>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop long-term architectural customers by creating relationships that reflect the best interests of the architects\u2019 clients while also developing relationships with firms\u2019 lead specification managers\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Develop short-term and long-term project pipelines to actively pursue with architectural firms\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Network with architects and industry leaders through local CSI (Construction Specifications Institute), AIA (American Institute of Architects), &amp; DHI (Door &amp; Hardware Institute) events as well as other industry networking opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with local territory team with sales alignment to ensure coverage for completed specifications\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>What we require<\/h2>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Associate\u2019s degree in construction management, architectural design, engineering, business, or a related field and 3+ years of relevant experience or High School Diploma\/GED with 6+ years relevant experience\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Current CDT (Construction Documents Technologist) and DHC (Door Hardware Consultant) certifications or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Ability to travel up to 50% + within territory\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers and stakeholders at varying levels\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>What we prefer<\/h2>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in construction management, architectural design, engineering, business, or a related field\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Current AHC (Architectural Hardware Consultant) certification\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience\u00a0utilizing\u00a0Sandler sales\u00a0methodology\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h2>What we offer<\/h2>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Taking Care of our Employees on Day One with Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance coverage options.
