We\u2019re looking for an AI Specialist to join our Enterprise &amp; Strategic sales team as a quota-carrying overlay seller, driving AgentControl revenue across our largest accounts.<\/p>\n<p>This is a sales-led role, not a technical pre-sales seat. You\u2019ll own an AgentControl number, build your own pipeline alongside Enterprise and Strategic Account Executives, and run deals start to close.<\/p>\n<h3>Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Own a revenue target for AgentControl, with full accountability for pipeline, forecasting, and closed-won bookings<\/li>\n<li>Partner with Enterprise and Strategic AEs as the AgentControl overlay \u2014 building account plans and co-selling into existing and net-new relationships<\/li>\n<li>Prospect within the install base and target accounts to create AgentControl opportunities, not just work what\u2019s handed to you<\/li>\n<li>Run the full sales cycle: discovery, value narrative, stakeholder alignment, negotiation, and close<\/li>\n<li>Build a business case for economic buyers around AgentControl\u2019s core value \u2014 safer, faster AI agent operations in production<\/li>\n<li>Partner with Deal Desk on pricing and deal structure for large or complex deals<\/li>\n<li>Work cross-functionally with Sales Engineering and Product Marketing on positioning, and pull in technical support at the right moments<\/li>\n<li>Lead executive conversations and proof-of-value engagements that move strategic deals forward<\/li>\n<li>Feed field intelligence \u2014 win\/loss themes, objections, pricing feedback \u2014 back to Product and Marketing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Qualifications:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience \u2014 AE, sales specialist, or overlay seller \u2014 ideally in enterprise\/strategic B2B SaaS<\/li>\n<li>A proven track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets<\/li>\n<li>Experience running full-cycle enterprise deals: prospecting, discovery, business case, negotiation, close<\/li>\n<li>Comfort operating as an overlay \u2014 co-selling with AEs without owning the whole account relationship<\/li>\n<li>Working familiarity with modern software delivery (CI\/CD, feature management, or observability) and genuine interest in AI agents in production<\/li>\n<li>Strong commercial instincts and executive presence \u2014 equally at home prospecting a new logo or briefing a VP of Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Experience ramping a new product line within an existing territory is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Pay:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Target pay ranges based on Geographic Zones* for Level 4:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Zone 1: <em>San Francisco\/Bay Area or NYC Metropolitan Area, Boston, Seattle<\/em> \u2013 <em>$<em>2<\/em>69,000 \u2013 $370,000 <\/em>**<\/li>\n<li>Zone 2:<em> Irvine, LA, Monterey, Santa Barbara, Santa Rosa, Austin, Portland, Philadelphia, Chicago \u2013 $242,000 \u2013 $333,000<\/em>**<\/li>\n<li>Zone 3: <em>All other US locations \u2013 $229,000 \u2013 $314,000<\/em>**<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>LaunchDarkly operates from a place of high trust and transparency; we are happy to state the pay range for our open roles to best align with your needs.
