Operating with the autonomy of a regional owner, you will expand Spire\u2019s market presence across key industry segments, leverage our partner ecosystem to drive adoption of our forecast data, APIs, and decision-support solutions, and consistently exceed sales targets.<\/p>\n<p>This is a high-impact, quota-carrying role for a seller who is energized by how data and software are reshaping traditional industries and who wants to sell a product that is, quite literally, powered by space.<\/p>\n<h2>What You\u2019ll Do<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Own a territory: <\/strong>Build and execute a territory plan spanning EMEA and APAC, identifying and developing new business opportunities while growing and retaining existing client accounts.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Exceed targets: <\/strong>Meet and surpass assigned quotas through disciplined prospecting, qualification, and full-cycle deal execution.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Build lasting relationships: <\/strong>Develop strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders across the weather, climate, and earth intelligence ecosystem \u2014 understanding their needs, challenges, and objectives to tailor solutions accordingly.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sell consultatively: <\/strong>Use a solution-selling approach to uncover clients\u2019 operational pain points and propose tailored offerings built on Spire\u2019s weather forecasts, historical data, and climate analytics.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Master the product: <\/strong>Develop deep expertise in Spire\u2019s data products and platforms \u2014 their features, differentiation, and applications \u2014 to communicate compelling value to technical and executive audiences alike.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Deliver winning proposals: <\/strong>Prepare and present persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and responses to tenders that clearly articulate Spire\u2019s value proposition.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Negotiate and close: <\/strong>Lead commercial negotiations on terms and pricing to reach mutually beneficial agreements and close deals reliably.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Manage your pipeline: <\/strong>Maintain an accurate, up-to-date pipeline in our CRM, ensuring rigorous forecasting and timely follow-up on every lead and opportunity.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Know the market: <\/strong>Track industry trends, competitive movements, and emerging opportunities across your regions to inform strategy and identify new areas for growth.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Collaborate cross-functionally: <\/strong>Partner with marketing, product, meteorology, and customer success teams to ensure client satisfaction and feed market insight back into product development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Who You Are<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>8+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, with a focus on selling data products, SaaS, or API-based solutions.<\/li>\n<li>A demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of the weather and climate industry, or deep experience selling digital transformation into data-driven sectors such as energy, maritime, aviation, agriculture, or logistics.<\/li>\n<li>A consultative, value-based selling style with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships across cultures, time zones, and seniority levels.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with modern sales tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Lusha).<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated, results-oriented, and effective working independently in a remote, globally distributed team.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English; willingness to travel across the territory as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent practical experience, preferably in a high-tech field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Bonus Points<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Additional language skills relevant to the EMEA or APAC regions.<\/li>\n<li>An existing network within meteorology, earth observation, or climate-tech communities.<\/li>\n<li>Experience selling to or partnering with government agencies, national met services, or large enterprises in regulated industries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Why Spire?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Mission with impact: help organizations worldwide adapt to a changing climate using data collected from space.<\/li>\n<li>Real ownership: a large, high-potential territory with the autonomy to build it your way.<\/li>\n<li>Competitive compensation: base salary plus uncapped commission, and equity participation.<\/li>\n<li>Flexible, remote-first working within a collaborative, international team spanning four continents.<\/li>\n<li>Generous time off, local statutory benefits, and support for professional development.
