Our platform enables data to become a strategic advantage, helping businesses across the US and beyond make faster, smarter, and more confident decisions.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking for an Enterprise Sales Director to create, expand, and retain revenue for Actian\u2019s multiple product lines. <\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Field Sales and individual contributor role responsible for achieving revenue goals.<\/li>\n<li>Work as part of a Regional Team to successfully support and blanket the current customer install base, as well as penetrate new accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets within assigned territories or verticals.<\/li>\n<li>Develop Customer Account Plans including history, architecture, Org Chart, Requirements, Use Cases, Current State\/Desired State, pains, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Map requirements to Actian\u2019s technology and build value proposition and ROI.<\/li>\n<li>Cultivate and maintain executive level relationships in various Lines of Business with focus on strategic relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Meet and\/or exceed sales quota and customer satisfaction metrics.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake direct prospecting activities to target enterprises: follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns and leverage personal network\/relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Develop a strong pipeline of deals through direct customer relationships, exhaustive prospecting, collaboration, targeted marketing campaigns, attending\/hosting customer events and variety of other field activities.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in leveraging new alliances and OEM and VAR relationships with target companies.<\/li>\n<li>Promote Actian products with End Users, SI, BI and ISV partner communities and by acting as an ambassador for the company.<\/li>\n<li>Stay up on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities to identify opportunities for growth.<br \/>Collaborate closely with the marketing and product teams to provide market feedback and contribute to product development based on client needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Essential Qualifications:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>7+ years Field sales and\/or account management experience in Data Platform Management, Integration\/CDC, Analytics, Database and\/or Cloud<\/li>\n<li>Experience with large Relational Database Management System(RDBMS)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Object-Oriented Database Management System (OODBMS)<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Edge Databases. <\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable experience in high-tech enterprise software sales<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated history of prior sales success including but not limited to: Quarterly\/Annual Quota Achievement; Presidents Club attainment; OTE Overachievement<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to engage, negotiate and win new relationships at CXO level in our targeted markets.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to provide forecast accuracy and deliver \u2018closest to the pin\u2019 results.<\/li>\n<li>Previous knowledge of SaaS, Cloud, Analytics, Database and ETL technologies<\/li>\n<li>Proven track record in selling &amp; positioning IT solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office &amp; Sales Automation Tools (Salesforce.com)<\/li>\n<li>Minimum bachelor\u2019s degree from a leading university or equivalent experience<\/li>\n<li>Very strong written &amp; verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to speak and present to large business audiences at conferences &amp; industry forums.<\/li>\n<li>Team player with a positive attitude and good customer service skills<\/li>\n<li>High levels of self-motivation, adaptability, ease of handling multiple responsibilities and able to work on own with minimal supervision<\/li>\n<li>Able to meet team objectives. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Compensation<\/h3>\n<h3>Additional Information<\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Actian Data Platform unifies siloed data sources, delivers powerful data governance and catalog capabilities, and supports a wide range of real-time analytics workloads\u2014all at a fraction of the cost&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":357668,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"USA","_application":"https:\/\/jobicy.com\/jobs\/151623-enterprise-sales-director-southeast-region","_company_name":"Actian","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[102],"job-types":[16],"job_listing_tag":[170,169],"class_list":["post-357667","job_listing","type-job_listing","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","job_listing_category-sales","job_listing_type-full-time","job_listing_tag-digital-marketing","job_listing_tag-marketing","job-type-full-time"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v28.0 -
