We\u2019re a creative agency that loves big ideas, smart strategy, and work that looks as good as it performs. We\u2019re looking for a <strong>Motion Designer \/ Video Editor<\/strong> who can help bring those ideas to life across video, motion, and social.<\/p>\n<p>This is a part-time role starting at <strong>15\u201320 hours per week<\/strong>, with the potential to grow into a full-time position as the role and agency needs evolve.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll work closely with our creative team to develop and produce video and motion content for a range of clients and projects. We\u2019re looking for someone who can take a creative idea, footage, or rough direction and turn it into polished, engaging work. Someone who has strong creative instincts, works independently, and cares about every detail.<\/p>\n<p>What You\u2019ll Do<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Edit video content for social, digital, campaigns, presentations, and other client needs<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Create motion graphics, animation, typography, transitions, and visual effects<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Bring creative concepts and storyboards to life through video and motion<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Work with footage, photography, graphics, music, and other assets to create compelling edits<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Develop social-first and short-form video content designed to capture attention<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Adapt video content across platforms, formats, and aspect ratios<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Collaborate closely with creative directors, art directors, writers, and strategists<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Participate in creative conversations and bring your own ideas and perspective to the work<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Take projects from initial concept through final delivery<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Take feedback and make thoughtful revisions efficiently<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Manage project files, footage, assets, and deadlines independently<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Handle basic color correction, sound mixing, and finishing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Stay current with video, motion, social, and cultural trends<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Explore AI and emerging creative tools that can improve the work or workflow<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What You Bring<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>3\u20135 years of professional experience<\/strong> in video editing, motion design, animation, or a related creative role<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>A strong portfolio or reel demonstrating editing, motion, visual storytelling, and creative range<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Strong working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Excellent instincts for pacing, timing, composition, typography, and visual storytelling<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Experience creating engaging social and short-form video content<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Ability to take a creative brief or direction and independently develop a strong execution<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Strong attention to detail and a high bar for creative quality<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Strong communication and collaboration skills<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Curiosity and a willingness to experiment, learn, and push the work further<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bonus If<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>You have experience with 2D animation, kinetic typography, or advanced motion graphics<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>You have experience with social-first and vertical video<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>You have experience with sound design, color grading, or finishing<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>You have production experience or an understanding of shooting and camera fundamentals<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>You know your way around Figma or other creative tools<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>You have experience using AI video and creative tools<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>You have worked in an agency or fast-paced creative environment<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>You have a strong sense of culture and understand what makes people stop scrolling<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We love great creative.
