We are expanding our smart and driven team and would love for you to join us.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re looking for a Solutions Consultant to join the Dscout Presales Team. In this role, you will partner closely with Account Directors to guide prospective customers through their evaluation of Dscout\u2019s research platform. You will act as both a product expert and a strategic advisor \u2013 uncovering pain points, shaping use cases, and demonstrating how Dscout\u2019s solutions deliver real value. This role blends presales excellence, research credibility, and product storytelling, making it ideal for someone energized by problem\u2011solving, discovery, and influencing customer decisions. This role would be reporting directly to the Senior Director of Solutions Consulting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You Will Do<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Partner with Account Directors to understand customer goals across research, design, and broader business contexts.<\/li>\n<li>Support discovery conversations to identify pain points and unpack complex research workflows.<\/li>\n<li>Translate customer challenges into clear, high\u2011impact use cases.<\/li>\n<li>Deliver compelling, customized demos tailored to each customer\u2019s workflow, challenges, and goals.<\/li>\n<li>Own the \u201ctech win\u201d by driving alignment across the customer\u2019s buying committee.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the product expert-explaining capabilities, value, limitations, and best\u2011practice approaches.<\/li>\n<li>Scope, plan, and execute customer evaluations, including research design, recruiting, fielding, and analysis support.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with prospects to create a clear roadmap for onboarding, adoption, and long\u2011term success.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with Marketing to develop presales collateral, case studies, and thought\u2011leadership materials.<\/li>\n<li>Provide structured feedback to Product, Research, and Customer Success based on customer insights.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in conferences, customer onsites, and company events (approx. 25% travel).<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to Dscout\u2019s culture of feedback, continuous improvement, and research excellence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What You Should Have<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> 3+ years in a customer-facing SaaS role such as Solutions Consulting, Solutions Engineering, Research Consulting, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of qualitative research methodologies with hands-on experience planning and executing research.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate complex research workflows and translate them into compelling product stories.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills-able to be consultative, clear, and persuasive with senior stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable navigating ambiguity, structuring messy problems, and crafting strategic recommendations.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree (or equivalent) in business, behavioral sciences, HCI, design research, or equivalent professional experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Nice to Have<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience supporting enterprise-level sales cycles.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with UX research, insights, or usability testing platforms (Dscout, UserTesting, Maze, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to product management or prototyping tools such as Figma or Miro.<\/li>\n<li>Leadership experience including mentoring, onboarding, or serving as a team lead.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Success in This Role Looks Like<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Achieving quarterly tech-win and presales influence targets.<\/li>\n<li>Delivering high-quality demos, POCs, and discovery engagements that accelerate pipeline momentum and customer clarity.<\/li>\n<li>Strong feedback scores and ratings from Account Directors.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated thought leadership through internal enablement or external research-community engagement.<\/li>\n<li>Providing meaningful insights to the Product and Marketing teams that inform roadmap and positioning.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> Some of the benefits listed below apply <strong>only<\/strong> to U.S.-based employees.
