DESCRIPTION:
Join our collaborative sales team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute as an Account Manager, selling our Olink Proteomics workflow. You will increase revenue and build lasting relationships with customers while representing our comprehensive portfolio of scientific products and services. Working in a supportive environment that values achievement and innovation, you\u2019ll help enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.
In this role, you will develop and implement strategic sales plans, manage key account relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction through consultative selling. You\u2019ll work with cross-functional teams to provide tailored solutions that meet customer needs while achieving sales targets. Through a combination of customer visits and virtual engagement, you\u2019ll serve as a trusted advisor to help customers advance their scientific goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
\u2022 BS degree required. Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology or related scientific field.<\/p>\n

5 plus years of work related experience, preferably a mix of lab sales and bench experience. Laboratory, scientific, or healthcare industries and preferred with large equipment sales experience<\/p>\n

\u2022 Must live in the greater Denver area
\u2022 Technical knowledge and ability to understand customer applications and workflows<\/p>\n

\u2022 Must have a good understanding of Next Gen Sequencing and qPCR applications<\/p>\n

\u2022 Prefer someone with a good understanding of Proteomics and Multiomics integration
\u2022 Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
\u2022 Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships at all levels<\/p>\n

\u2022 A relevant network of contacts within the San Diego territory as defined<\/p>\n

\u2022 Technical experience with proteomics or discovery biomarkers is a plus<\/p>\n

\u2022 Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and MS Office suite<\/p>\n

\u2022 Analytical and strategic planning capabilities
\u2022 Results-oriented with demonstrated success in achieving sales targets
\u2022 Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment
\u2022 Valid driver\u2019s license and ability to travel up to 50% within assigned territory
\u2022 Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial

Compensation and Benefits<\/b><\/u><\/p>\n

The salary range estimated for this position based in Colorado is $85,000.00\u2013$127,800.00.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
