Operate is the phase that tells you what actually happened, and it is ours.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>We\u2019re currently looking for an Account Executive based in Montreal, Toronto, Denver, Austin, Miami, San Francisco or Raleigh.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This role is unique and different from almost anything else currently available in the market as you will have full ownership and accountability within a defined market at MaintainX. While you will have numerous resources to ensure your success, you will be completely full-cycle: from prospecting, discovery, demo, to signature.<\/p>\n<p>Reporting to one of the Sales Managers for the Emerging team, this is a difference-making, meaningful, high-responsibility role. We expect the right candidate to be someone who thinks outside the box, thrives under pressure, and is laser-focused on meeting targets every single month.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>New Logo Sales \u2013 Your primary job responsibility will be to close new accounts and to consistently hit targets monthly, quarterly, and annually.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Prospecting \u2013 While you will be provided a healthy amount of leads from other sources (such as marketing and the BDR team), our plan requires some pipeline contribution from self outbound prospecting efforts.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Lead Conversion \u2013 You will be \u201chanded\u201d warm leads on a regular basis and will need to become elite at nurturing those leads from sales cycle to close.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Presentation \u2013 You will be responsible for presentations, such as discovery calls, high-level product demonstrations, and closing calls.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Forecast \u2013 You will be expected to accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales with +\/- 15% accuracy.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Organize \u2013 You will need to manage multiple tasks simultaneously: new leads, demos, proposals, follow-ups, etc. It\u2019s imperative that you stay organized and nothing falls through the cracks.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Systems \u2013 We\u2019re a tech company, so we provide you great technology to do your job. You will become a master of using systems like Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and others.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Getting Better Every Day \u2013 You will be provided great onboarding and training support, but even after this initial period, you should be open to continued coaching and constructive criticism.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Thought Leadership \u2013 It\u2019s important to understand and form a passion for our industry. We expect you to learn at every opportunity.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Startup Mentality \u2013 You will need to embrace the entrepreneurial, grind-it-out mentality of building something new.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About you:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>B2B sales experience.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>2+ years of total sales experience in a closing role.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Documented success as a closer.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Ability to articulate metrics and data.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Willingness to prospect and contribute to your own pipeline. Whatever it takes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Experience conducting your own discovery calls and product demonstrations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Comfortable moving fast, multi-tasking, and keeping the energy high.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Outstanding verbal and written communication ability.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Insanely detail-oriented and organized.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Personality traits: positive, passionate, creative, smart, high-character.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>BA degree or higher.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This role is responsible for managing and supporting a customer portfolio based primarily in English-speaking markets (US\/English Canada), requiring daily verbal and written communication in English with those customers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bonus if you have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Experience with modern sales tech stacks: Salesforce, Salesloft, DiscoverOrg, etc.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Experience with startups and entrepreneurial organizations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Experience working in CMMS or facility operations software.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Documented success working in a remote setting.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Our mission is to keep the physical world running. <\/strong>Factories, fleets, hospitals and campuses stay up because the people who maintain them have tools worth using.
