As part of a recently public company, you\u2019ll have the autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a high energy role in which you will bring the Internet of Things to small to medium size customers, building Samsara\u2019s business and bringing the benefits of sensor data to customers. Our customers value earned trust and human relationships built over time.<\/li>\n<li><strong>You want to be with the best: <\/strong>Samsara\u2019s high-performance Sales culture means you\u2019ll be surrounded by the best and challenged to go farther than you have before. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>In this role, you will: <\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification to close.<\/li>\n<li>Generate pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting, as well as receive inbound leads from our account development team.<\/li>\n<li>Target accounts with 11-30 vehicles. <\/li>\n<li>Experience handling and owning transactional sales process with high volume demands.<\/li>\n<li>Champion, role model, and embed Samsara\u2019s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum requirements for this role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1+ years of experience in a closing sales role<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>An ideal candidate has:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proven track record of consistent quota achievement<\/li>\n<li>Experience selling in the commercial space \u2013 small to medium deals sizes<\/li>\n<li>Experience with high-volume cold calling<\/li>\n<li>Experience in fast-paced, transactional sales<\/li>\n<li>Must demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with your teammates and in your selling process<\/li>\n<li>SFDC familiarity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position is below and depends on your city of residence.
