As a remote-first, Toronto-based startup with big ambitions, we\u2019re looking for a Home &amp; Auto Insurance Advisor to help us build the future of insurance in Canada and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>As a Home &amp; Auto Insurance Advisor, you\u2019ll be on the front lines helping customers protect their homes and vehicles while delivering a modern, digital-first experience. You\u2019ll focus on sales execution \u2013 handling inbound leads, closing business, and providing clear, honest advice that builds long-term trust with our customers. You\u2019ll also collaborate with the rest of the team to refine our sales processes, share insights from customer conversations, and contribute to the continued growth of PolicyMe\u2019s P&amp;C business.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports To<\/strong>: Associate Director, Home &amp; Auto<\/p>\n<h3>What you\u2019ll be doing<\/h3>\n<p><strong>First 6 months<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Educate prospective customers on Home &amp; Auto insurance options using PolicyMe\u2019s digital platform and your product expertise, breaking down coverage in clear, honest terms so they feel confident moving forward.<\/li>\n<li>Manage a high-volume, inbound pipeline of Home &amp; Auto leads, moving them efficiently through the sales funnel and converting qualified opportunities into closed policies via phone, SMS, and email.<\/li>\n<li>Use HubSpot to track every touchpoint \u2013 calls, emails, follow-ups, and deal stages \u2013 so your pipeline is always clean, up to date, and easy to forecast from.<\/li>\n<li>Recommend the right coverage based on customer needs using a consultative, customer\u2011first approach that balances protection, price, and eligibility.<\/li>\n<li>Build and refine sales scripts, talk tracks, objection\u2011handling, workflows, and follow\u2011up sequences in HubSpot to improve contact rates, appointment show rates, and close rates.<\/li>\n<li>Work directly with engineering and product to refine client digital experiences and communicate how our products are performing.<\/li>\n<li>Set the tone and standards for how PolicyMe serves P&amp;C customers by delivering a high\u2011energy, high\u2011conversion, but always honest and customer\u2011centric experience on every interaction.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all recommendations and customer interactions are fully compliant with RIBO requirements, carrier guidelines, and internal policies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>6\u201312 months and beyond<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establish yourself as a top\u2011performing Home &amp; Auto advisor, consistently hitting and exceeding monthly sales and activity targets (contact rate, talk time, conversions etc).<\/li>\n<li>Continuously optimize your own sales process by testing new hooks, discovery questions, and follow\u2011up cadences \u2013 and feeding winning approaches back into team playbooks.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to a scalable, repeatable sales playbook for Home &amp; Auto by logging accurate data in HubSpot, surfacing common objections, and helping refine qualification criteria and next\u2011best actions.<\/li>\n<li>Help position PolicyMe as Canada\u2019s go\u2011to digital\u2011first distributor of personal insurance by delivering an experience that feels modern, simple, and genuinely sales\u2011driven in the best sense: efficient, helpful, and outcome\u2011oriented.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What we are looking for<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>A licensed P&amp;C advisor in Ontario (RIBO Level 1 or higher).<\/li>\n<li>3+ years of experience selling personal lines (Home &amp; Auto), ideally in a high\u2011volume, phone\u2011based or digital sales environment.<\/li>\n<li>A builder mentality \u2013 entrepreneurial and adaptable \u2013 with a track record of not just working a process but improving it <em>(scripts, sequences, qualification, and follow\u2011up)<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>A proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a consultative sales environment, with comfort owning a full inbound pipeline from first contact to close.<\/li>\n<li>Strong pipeline management and organization skills: you\u2019re comfortable juggling a large volume of leads while maintaining tight follow\u2011up discipline and clean CRM hygiene.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills and a consultative sales style \u2013 you can manage objections, explain complex coverage concepts clearly, and make clients feel heard while still driving to a decision.<\/li>\n<li>High empathy and discretion, especially when discussing personal and financial details, paired with a clear sense of urgency and ownership over your numbers.<\/li>\n<li>Comfort with CRM and workflow tools (HubSpot preferred) and a willingness to lean into data, playbooks, and feedback to continuously improve performance.<\/li>\n<li>High ethical standards and a commitment to compliance, confidentiality, and always putting the customer\u2019s best interests first \u2013 even while you\u2019re chasing ambitious sales goals.<\/li>\n<li>Experience at a digital\u2011first distributor is an asset.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Why join us:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Generous PTO \u2013 20 vacation days<\/li>\n<li>A comprehensive benefits plan with premiums paid in full by PolicyMe<\/li>\n<li>Investment in your professional development, including an L&amp;D budget, AI tooling budget, performance reviews twice a year and ongoing feedback to ensure you reach your highest potential<\/li>\n<li>An extremely high performing, low-ego, remote-first team that is truly disrupting an old industry<\/li>\n<li>Option to work from home or our Toronto-based office (bonus: we cover the costs to bring all our employees in-person twice a year for experiential socials!)<\/li>\n<li>Access to stock options based on performance<\/li>\n<li><strong>Compensation:<\/strong> The total target cash compensation for this role with OTE is <strong>$80,000\u2013$90,000 CAD<\/strong>, based on experience.
