You will be tasked with educating and advising customers on the most optimal personal lines insurance products. Matic specializes in streamlining the process for customers going through the lending process to purchase homeowners insurance. Because of that, Matic is able to deliver qualified leads to our insurance advisors, so you can spend time doing what you do best, selling insurance.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Handling incoming calls from customers seeking a better insurance option (typically going through the mortgage process) <\/li>\n<li>Advising customers on best insurance options in marketplace<\/li>\n<li>Staying up to date on market trends and carrier products<\/li>\n<li>Make outbound calls to prospective clients, generating interest, and selling insurance<\/li>\n<li>Actively participate in team activities, trainings, and brainstorm sessions<\/li>\n<li>Be a thought leader helping to shape our process of tomorrow<\/li>\n<li>Create a five star customer service resulting in a world class customer satisfaction score<\/li>\n<li>Conduct detailed follow ups via email and phone<\/li>\n<li>Attain sales goals while providing customers with quality<\/li>\n<li>Assist Customers with the policy purchase process, verifying all the policy information prior to binding, processing payments, assisting customer with DocuSign process and reviewing settlement sheet for accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Maintains knowledge of new guidelines and procedures by reading all emails<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for keeping P&amp;C license and continuing education up to date and within good standing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Active Personal Lines or P&amp;C Insurance License<\/li>\n<li>1+ year of phone sales experience<\/li>\n<li>1+ year experience working remote<\/li>\n<li>Ability to continue learning and growing as a professional in the industry (certifications, designations, networking, industry trade articles and books, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Maintain positive attitude, passion for the product, and a strong work ethic<\/li>\n<li>Excellent ability to multi-task<\/li>\n<li>High moral and ethical integrity<\/li>\n<li>Have excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to recommend appropriate coverage and insurance options to consumers<\/li>\n<li>Ability to be coached, seek advice, ask question, and learn from feedback<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What We Offer<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Guaranteed <\/strong><strong>Base Pay:<\/strong> Competitive hourly rate of <strong>$19.23 to $20.19<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong><strong>Monthly Bonus:<\/strong> <\/strong>Monthly performance bonuses with a monthly target of <strong>$4,750<\/strong> and the potential to reach <strong>$9,500 <\/strong>based on total policies sold, policies per customer and close rate <\/li>\n<li>Matic Stock Options \u2013 all employees have ownership in Matic<\/li>\n<li>Flexible Paid Time Off \u2013 take off as much time as you need \u2013 we support work \/ life balance<\/li>\n<li>Medical, Dental &amp; Vision insurance \u2013 Matic pays 100% for employees <\/li>\n<li>Health Savings Account \u2013 with monthly employer contribution<\/li>\n<li>401(k) Retirement Plan Option<\/li>\n<li>Voluntary Life, Accident and Short-Term Disability Insurance <\/li>\n<li>Continuing education \u2013 licensing and professional development <em>paid for by Matic.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Career advancement \u2013 we have a culture that prioritizes internal promotion and career growth <\/li>\n<li>A TRUE team culture \u2013 <em>One Team, One Dream is our company motto<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Frequent team events &amp; activities \u2013 happy hours, charity events, game nights, volleyball\/kickball teams, etc<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About Matic<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Matic is an insurance tech startup who delivers an unbiased approach to insurance.
